Someone brought back The Sims Online and apparently they have Electronic Arts' blessing to do so as long as they do not make money off of it. Which seems unbelievable and I am currently looking for this on their website. The game is in open beta right now and of course, it is free.http://freeso.org/
It would download the game and the files necessary for this one for you. Perhaps we could reconstruct Minichanopolis.
This is the world and don't let the size fool you. It is just zoomed out to the max. It is very big.
Not sure if you are interested, but just thought it might be fun to build a lot with you all.
