Topic: economics based not on currencies but on dead bodies

When costed in dead bodies, the mighty Empire State Building cost five units. The Rio Olympics was more than twice as expensive, at eleven. The accounting for the Qatar World Cup was not very diligent, though the estimated cost is well over 1000 units. That's like the price of two hundred Empire State Buildings. The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Japan, which has the world's longest suspension span, was free!
