Government facilities though, not private care but it will help drive those wages up too I guess. It's a female dominated industry and there was a court case to get fair pay which has resulted in minimum wage earners ($15.75) getting $23/hr depending on experience, and potential to get up to $27 over the next few years with annual increases.
Seems fair, it'll be a good living wage here

can't be higher than where I live and the minimum wage here is only 10
