This makes no sense.

The next decade is 3 years away. If, from that vantage point, TG is "bringing up things from 5 years ago", that means he's talking about things that happened in 2015 at the latest. What, then, is the relevance of his having been kicked into the next decade? Or did you mean "5 years ago" from now, i.e our vantage point, not his? Because that would make the frame of reference 2012, which still renders completely pointless the notion that he was "kicked into the next decade".

Explain what you meant, if you can.
