Congrats. The most important thing when trying to get sober is not to think about drinking. Don't let yourself start remembering the taste of a cool beer, or that pleasant feeling it produces. Never fall into the trap of dwelling on the sweet, 'hoppy' taste of a well-brewed ale as it slides down your throat. Often when the withdrawal 'pangs' come, it's natural to imagine how the discomfort will all fade blissfully away if you take a long, satisfying sip of tasty beer, so make sure you don't go down that road. Just put beer out of your mind completely, don't think about how it looks, tastes or smells.
