If a black person can pass as white they're transracial. If an Inuit can pass as Asian, they're transracial. If a fair-skinned aboriginal child is taken from her parents and raised as a white child, she's transracial. Thanks.

Yeah, although the practice was common all over the British Commonwealth, not just in Australia. From that perspective, the imposing of a cultural identity is a form of transracialism, particularly if the child comes to accept Caucasian status.
