Topic: I don't think that they ever got the guy that stole Nicholas Cage's comic books

They did recover the comics (Detective Comics #1 and #27, and Action Comics #1) when a guy who apparently found them in a storage locker was looking for a buyer. But I can't find anything about who might have stolen them in the first place. Why didn't they check the records for who rented the storage locker?
