No shit. US hospitals regularly dump mentally ill or elderly patients off on the streets too. They just drive them to a different neighborhood first instead of flying them to a different country.

pretty sure a dude in my neighborhood killed his wife with alzheimer's and got away with it. i think he moved to mexico
she just disappeared one day and a month or two later he was moved out
