I'd have to say no, though other cultures may be a bit more reserved (read:secretive) they still have basically the same thoughts, feelings, etc as Americans. Yeah, in my experience of IRL Americans. That doesn't mean that they cannot not be rude, but the people I've met were rude and took up too much space (even when they weren't fat, if you know what I mean). But, everyone has their bad apples..
