Whom is the greater fag, praytell? The fag whom counts vowels, or the fag whom uses them in the very post with which he decries them as being for fags? It is, in fact, the latter. Thanks.

Does æ count as one vowel or two!?

In English, a word with an initial vowel is always preceded by the indefinite article "an". Here are a few examples:
An automobile
An European
An helicopter
An integer
An octagon
An university
An X-ray
An yacht
@previous (Meta M³)
It counts as a dipthong. Thanks.

No, it doesn't. I think you are confusing vowels with vowel sounds and vice versa.

It, in fact, does. Is English not your first language?

The use of A or An as an article is conditional upon an initial vowel sound, but plays no role in defining what constitutes a vowel. Your list also contains several errors.

In British H is pronounced more like haytch. So I dont thicouit counts as a vowel.
