Dude was poor and needed money to buy some land. One day his friend, a powerful man, caught word of Danish fishermen that a Danish bank had collapsed and rendered it's notes worthless. So his powerful friend gave him all his worthless notes from that bank, telling him to hurry up north before the news got around.
On the high lands there was shortage of food and he desperately needed food and so he asked a woman if he could buy some. When he refused to buy fish for double the price, the woman attacked him. He Falcon punch her and slammed her on her ass. After that they became good friends, some say more than that.
That's it. That's the old story apparently interesting enough to be kept alive through the ages.

Moral of the story, don't order the fish if you can't see the ocean from the restaurant. And if you are going to buy fish in the high lands, smack a bitch
