A Senior Editor at Breitbart, Milo Yiannopoulos, has resigned in relation to his remarks regarding sex with children during an interview early last year. In the interview Yiannopoulos condoned sexual relations with boys as young as 13 and joked about a sexual encounter he said he had with a Catholic priest as a teenager.
With a history of extreme positions, including racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic screeds, Yiannopoulos is no stranger to controversy, having been booed off stage at college appearances and banned from Twitter in the past. His recent remarks have cost him more than his job though as publisher Simon & Schuster cancelled a recent book deal following the uproar and the American Conservative Union rescinded its invitation for him to speak at an upcoming conference.
While Yiannopoulos was busy trying to publicly back-peddle from his recent comments, figures at Breitbart have been busy doing damage control trying to distance themselves from the former employee.
The only signs i see of him fucking up is him resigning from breitbart as a "senior esitor" what ever that means. But on the plus side, surprise surprise we are talking about him more than ever. Even in his press conference, he manages to mention he has been molested, unfairly targeted and is soon to release a book which his original publisher refused to publish. He's a god damn genius, a god damn genius.
I might even argue that because of his anti femininsm and pc culture, he appeals to more than just rightist groups and leaving breitbart could gaon him more popularity.
