I was there for 10 minutes and I got all full of anxiety. So I said I was hurting in the stomach and cooled off in the bathroom for about five minutes.

When I came back she was talking to some other doctor and she told me that she thinks I should go home because there are other people who are also hurting in their gut.

Said fine. But I don't see how that makes sense.

Maybe she thought you were sick? There could be a stomach bug going around the office or something.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. You could try explaining that your stomach pains were from anxiety, not illness.

she probably figured you were wasting her time by avoiding her in the bathroom and moved on to other patients who had more severe gut pain
