Do you even have contactless in USAmerica? Anyway I have 3 credit cards and on two of them I spent a little on useless shit then pay it off to improve my credit rating

These days I use hard cash only when I go out drinking, because some bars still don't have contactless POS machines.
Otherwise, up to $20 passes without PIN verification. Just touch and you're done. If you still count dimes and quarters when paying at Taco bell, I genuinely pity you.
