Zurich is a very pleasant place. The people are generally nice, but it definitely helps if you speak the language.

I've always heard good things about Switzerland, I'd love to go sometime. Austria is also really cool, Nega lives there but he refuses to post pics of anything. Ever.

People are very boring and 'clockwork', like robots. They are insular and often xenophobic, so it's hard to make friends and almost impossible if you're different. Nobody speaks to each other on the street. There is almost no nightlife, even in the bigger cities. The weather is awful. Everything is expensive. France is very close and 10x better than Switzerland.

Any night out is halfhearted and that's the best it's going to be. If you're at a work 'party' you can expect 75% of the people to leave after the meal and the remaining people to drink coca-cola. Everything closes at 7pm and you'll never see anyone out on the streets after that time.
