i've been testing the theory that the alt-right or more generally conservatives don't actually want and end to political correctness. just stop censoring your own online speech with politeness and start to outright use intentionally insulting tone. more often than not i get to offer someone a safe space and call them a snowflake ;)
all they really want is to be openly bigoted, but if you do it back then they get terribly offended. if it's too PC to have a cultural understanding of "crossing a line" then i'm going to make sure i cross that line as frequently as possible to shove it in people's faces. I don't quite understand what the term means in contemporary American politics. Trump ran on a "politically incorrect" platform, and yet everyone who loved him for it was outraged when Hillary said cops were institutionally racist. And it wasn't merely that they thought she was wrong, but that she had committed some reprehensible breach of civility by saying it. It seems to me that if you were truly against all "sacred cows" so to speak, you would be as unoffended by that as you were by Donald trump saying a mexican judge couldn't do his job fairly because he was a mexican, despite the fact that the judge was born in Indiana, or any of the other retarded shit Trump said. I think conservatives whining about political correctness is just them wanting to be able to say whatever dumb shit they really think about minorities without fear of negative social consequences for being an asshole.

No one really supports freedom of speech. They support freedom of speech that they more or less agree with. So of course the alt-right doesn't want to end political correctness, they just want to end leftist political correctness and replace it with Nazi political correctness. If Richard Spencer became "Fuhrer" there would still be a large set of things you can't say in public, they'd just be different things from what we have now.
So you see stuff like Charlie Hebdo in France where if you draw comics of Mohammed fucking a pig you'll get a parade in your honor but if you joke about the Holocaust you'll be thrown in jail. In Iran, it's the same but reversed. Neither country really supports "freedom of speech" they just have different things you can't say.
