I will now imply that if you use off-brand toilet paper that you will get skid marks.

It has nothing to do with technique, the simple fact is that if you don't use my brand of toilet paper and go try going commando, you will have a bad time and be socially ostracized, you will smell like shit and you will have visible skid marks showing through your pants. Buy my toilet paper, it will make your ass feel good!
