Hi, so I'm moving home soon. I need to choose between a lower ground floor apartment or a first/second whatever floor one.
It's in a big city. I'm a wuss and don't want to be broken into. The windows on the lower ground floor one have security bars on them all. So, that looks pretty safe. The only other place they could maybe get in is the front door, although i haven't checked to see how secure it is.
So, just wondering, how likely/easy is it that i'll be broken into on the lower ground floor?
Anyone here with burglary experience?

Choose the above ground unit since there is less foot traffic and it's quieter.

But, it's very quiet in that area anyway. And it's a nice area. I really want this lower ground one but i just want to make sure it's safe. :(

do the above ground. if you smoke, keep in mind smoke rises which will work in your favor
