Yes, when most people lived outside cities, the simple fact of numbers of opportunities and isolated living spaces would have meant that pony fucking was, if not ordinary, recurring and steady. With the migration to the cities and the widespread adoption of the automobile, pony fucking became more of an uncommon luxury. Perhaps the man of the house who spent a fair amount of money to make his daughter happy would decide to get some satisfaction himself from time to time, but the ordinary working man was not in such a position.

Today however, I speculate that pony fucking is at levels not seen since pre-industrial times.
