Who created the creators? Have the creators always been? Could the creators themselves, be living in a simulation? If they are in a simulation, couldn't there be an infinite amount of simulations similar to inception, if so will we live in this simulation for eternity?

Well, they're an advanced race of "aliens", as it were, but they themselves do not have all the answers.
I don't know much about their universe, but they say the purpose of our Simulation was to replicate their own universe, but they couldn't quite manage to get the details right which led to the failure of the experiment.
The Creators could very well be simulated themselves, I haven't seen inception and no I'm afraid we cannot escape the Simulation. But you get this space to spend your afterlife in where you can do quite a lot of things so you could probably roleplay it after you die.
