Do you ever carry Burritos, Hamburgers, etc in your purse so you have something to take out and eat in case you get hungry on the bus, or am I the only one who does that?

I find it practical, but why do people find it to be odd when you take a burrito out of your purse to eat? Can you provide an explanation on why people have considered it odd, and why that is?

Well I don't carry a purse. In my work bag I have things like fruit and muscle rub.
