Can somebody tell me why the hell electric health grills and sandwich toasters come with such a short piece of fucking cord and don't have a bloody on off switch? Every single motherfucking piece of god damn fucking shit electric health grill I see doesn't have this basic necessity. Do fucking arrogant trolls design these? "Ha ha ha, all you will ever need in your socket is an electric health grill. Forget other appliances like kettles and toasters". And what if your plug sockets are on the floor?! The plug can barely fucking reach the socket. Then you have to use the switch on the mains because some half-brained twat decided to remove the fucking on/off switch; something almost every electrical appliance has especially kitchen appliances. I am done with electric health grills and sandwich toasters. Too annoying to use and difficult to clean. I'll stick with a hot plate thank you very fucking much. It actually has a cord longer than a penis and has an adjustable temperature switch which can actually turn off.

Do they mean "electric health" grill or electric "health grill" and what the fuck would either of those mean anyway? Does it prevent cooking poison shit on it
But I can speculate that the devices would tend to remain plugged in if they had switches, and thereby be even more of a fire hazard as appliances can have faults that make them burst into flames for no good reason even when off -- or they are simply cutting every conceivable cost in manufacture
Anyway some time ago I bought several little switches that you can put on a socket and plug a device into, thereby making them effectively switchable so maybe you could find one

Once upon a tyme I used to go through many an Espresso Machine - 100% of the fails were do to on/off switch.
Grills eat up a massive number of watts so that short cord keeps the voltage drop from being to much - Cost of thicker copper wires (stranded) and bulk of such a longer cord and add that to the cost of a decent on-off switch which is Expensive.
I now keep my Espresso machines working without fail by keeping the On switch ON and using a quality external AC strip with a heavy duty On-Off switch
At least Green in UK has an advantage with double the AC Line Voltage. Lower Volts means High Current and its the Current that heats up the cord and drops the Voltage.
