Topic: Did police officers ride dragons in the middle ages?

We know from history books and movies such as Lord of the Rings that there were dragons in the middle ages, I'm wondering if police officers back then rode dragons. I think it would be kind of hard for an African American person of African American decemt person to run away from a dragon. Why did we stop using dragons? Dragons are cool.
