I stopped pirating games for the most part, but I still pirate film.
Part of the reason is that my potato PC can no longer run every game that comes out and the other part is Steam having grate deals.

I've pirated software that I've bought on other platforms (for example I bought Tomb Raider 1-5 for PC so I didn't feel guilty downloading the .ISO files to play on a PlayStation emulator on my tablet). Likewise with N64 games like Perfect Dark and Goldeneye I already bought I don't feel guilty downloading the ROMs and playing on an emulator.

I don't feel guilty pirating anything over a decade old because copyright as originally conceived only gave a few years of monopoly rights.
I go by the spirit of the law, not the letter, in this case.

I only pirate games that are too rare to find legally or games I already own that aren't available on a particular platform.

I haven't paid for a movie in many years and haven't paid for a PPV sports event ever. Torrenting and Acestream take care of that. Almost no games pirated though, I'm not a PC gamer and the last game I bought was GTAV on Xbox, before that I can't even remember. But I was thinking today about how much money I've saved on software licenses. It's got to be over $50k in 5 years if I had actually paid for what I've installed. I pirate a lot of tutorials for the software too, that's the only part I feel remotely bad about. Getting the knowledge of how to actually use the programs is valuable to me, but not enough to actually pay for it it seems.
I just can't seem to get past the fact that everything is free and only a couple of clicks away if you want it. I don't even support pirate sites either I guess, because I block their ads along with everyone elses.

I don't download pirated TV myself, but I watch it. My dad streams stuff via Kodi and a VPN and I watch some of it with him. But when I move out, I probably won't start pirating TV myself, it seems like a hassle. I wouldn't mind paying for what few shows or movies I would watch, assuming it's not subscription-based. So the convenience and assured quality of experience are what make me lean towards not pirating.
I haven't pirated a game so far, though I might make an exception if a retro game struck my fancy. Nearly did so for Future Cop LAPD once, but the nostalgia passed.

I stopped pirating because other means that I have found to be more convienent such as TV or movie streaming, Spotify or YouTube for music, etc became avaible.

Netflix here is complete shit. My friend has it so his kids can watch their childrens shows, but his wife was mad as fuck when their US subscription got cut off so I showed her a couple of good pirate streaming sites.

I mainly use Putlocker for TV shows and movies, you have to deal with the occasional annoying pop-up as, but it works for my purposes.

Streaming isn't really pirating in the legal sense, because you aren't creating a copy. While it's a grey area in terms of legality (nobody in the US afaik has ever been successfully convicted for streaming), I didn't include it as pirating due to the grey legality.

Don't you have to be genetically related for it to legally or socially incest? I mean, having sex with your adopted sister would be weird, but as long as she's of age and it's consentual, then I'm sure it would be legal. Just really awkward.
