Topic: Just arrived here from a parallel universe.

Not staying for too long. I was pretty crushed when Brexit was defeated and 52% voted to remain in the EU, but I was wrong. Things have been going amazingly well. The £ soared against the dollars, £1 is worth $2.27 at the moment. The price of fuel and food has gone down, it's like a utopia. Cameron tried to force through the snooper's charter but the EU stopped it going very far. I've even bought an EU flag now. Did this universe vote for Brexit? How did that go?

I voted for Brexit and I stand by my decision. It will be tough, but we will get through it and it will be better at the end. The £ crashing is very worrying, £1 is worth around $1.2. We have Theresa May as prime minister, she is pretty evil and our Toblerones have changed.

How have they changed? Theresa May is a pretty evil home secretary, although we don't have to worry about it too much because we have to adhere to EU laws.

Who cares about some gay looking novel,the price of imported beer is down due to our strong £. You really are stupid to shoot ypurself in the foot because you are scared of a few foreign people.

They do now, thanks to Brexit. I ate one just a few days ago, and It's as dismal as it looks.

Apparently, it was either that or increase the price.

Personally I would've preferred the price hike, though that might not have made sense from a business perspective.

It's not really all due to Brexit. Lots of companies reduce the soze of food but keep the price the same to help them make more money, Toblerone iust decidee to do it in a stupid way, imstead of reducing the size of the triangles, they made the gaps longer and stupid as hell.

@previous (Green !BEERiVqJJw)
Yeah, I probably would have been more accepting of smaller triangles over larger gaps.

The thing that's iconic about the Toblerone is the shape. Smaller triangles would have preserved that.

It's the company's fault for the shape, not Brexit. They are the ones who made the shitty design choice.

Without Brexit there wouldn't have been any need for a change and we'd still have the normal and superior version. It's a knock-on effect.

Soon it might not just be gappy Toblerone or missing Marmite. Next it might affect a really important food, like the pasty. What a living nightmare that'd be.
