Look, I get it, you want to play fallout 4 with the same set of ideals you have in the real world. That's okay but it just means you are ignorant of the world you play in. Being afraid of synths and the risks they are to the future of mankind is reasonable in the fictional world called fallout 4.

You are a fool if you think that a play where you use kind ideals is not in keeping with the game

The main character lived in the normal world where those ideals would have been encouraged

He did not grow up being told spooky stories about body swapping
