If you dislike your governments decisions about the military spending of your tax dollars because war is going to cost you your pension and healthcare and renewing infrastructure, then if you don't give a percentage of your income to the government as taxes you might be taken at gun point and locked in a cage for a while.| Poll option | Votes | Percentage | Graph |

Jails are holding facilities for suspects who are awaiting hearings and trials. Commonly shitholes, presumably they are not meant as punishment in countries that purport to have the principle of presumption of innocence, it is routine for those held there to suffer and die.

Prisons are supposed to be the punishment, I feel jails although not very fun places, shouldn't be because you're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
