A vinyl disc is hundreds of times larger than a micro SD card which can hold thousands of mp3s. A vinyl can only hold a few. Also you need a massive machine to use vinyl, digital can use almost any device. Vinyls are for dadrock and hipsters.

It just takes a modern turntable to play vinyl.
