Putin answers the door, it's him, it's his special friend. This special friend saved his ass so many times. His ideas always seemed completely absurd but Putin owws him one so he listens to his next idea, hoping it's not going to be a ridiculous restaurant idea like the last 20 times.
Putin, do you believe in human beings?

Putins friend explained his idea where special covert agents ought to be put in schools posing as teachers, their goal was to create the next generation of russians who were nationalistic, their goals would involve making sure no child is left behind as something as trivial as popularity. Their goal would be a shadow government which will take down their greatest enemy, capitalist aliens from the future.
At this point, putin strangled his friend to death.
But putin knew deep down that his friend's ideas wasn't actually ideas. They were just thoughts he made up to symbolize the growing complexion and strangeness of his situation.
You see putin was close to his friend, and so putin treated his friend as if his friend was his second copy, a clone. Putin didn't want to live like that, and because his friend was actually himself, it didn't look like murder in his eyes.
