You know Brexit's never going to be implemented. They'll just stall it for endless years.

That would be a somewhat good outcome, but the Tories seem quite intent on going ahead with it. I'm not sure they'll risk alienating their supporters or their party unity, even if it means trashing the economy.

If Brexit was not done it would prove democracy is a sham.

No it wouldn't be a good outcome.

Not if it was undone by democratic means, such as the proposed second referendum asking what sort of deal the UK wants to aim for (with backing out being an option).

Polling shows that there is a very significant split on this issue. Leave voters, while mostly prioritising curbs on immigration, also largely want access to the Single Market too. So there's very much an appetite for a "clarification" referendum.

It would be for trade and the economy. Although, granted, existing on a sort of limbo state probably wouldn't be very healthy either.

OK, could you calm down please. Me and my fellow associates have a vested interest in seeing Britain leave the EU. We are not men of half measures, we would like to see Britain fully exit the EU. If we do not get this we may as well not have had a referendum because the economy has already sustained damage. Your pal~Hal

It'll sustain much more damage if we go ahead and do it, m8.

That's what I mean, Terry. We have already caused the damage so we may as well go full steam powered boat ahead.

Allright m8. If you think that's what is best, let's put our all into it and twat that economy one!
