Capitalism, Communism, they all sound good down on paper, but the minute you inject these ideologies with human beings is the exact minute they become destined to fail. You cannot rely on the individual self to govern a mass of people. You cannot really rely on a select few to govern a mass of people. Maybe the best system is one where we take the good from all other systems and craft a new one with them then repeat until we foolishly hope to find one?

Yes we need to find something new but we don't need to foolishly attempt it but rather find one we can passionately believe in.

You missed the point. The point is that new system will also fail when you start to act on it because of the nature of humanity. It might work well at the start and fail at the end, but it could also fail at the start and be well and then fail. Humans are too individualistic.

That's the way history goes i guess. There is a idea that fails and then a new idea which also fails, after that maybe a compromise between the two that works for a while.

Capitalists like to claim that Social Darwinism is in tune with human nature, but the truth of it is that this is only the case due to the environment. As children, we're susceptible to what our parents and the society we were born into tells us is right and wrong.

The probability that we are identical in nearly every way is close to impossible as we all would have different upbrings which bestows a different sense of morality and other ideas. I suppose it could be worth experimenting, but the experiments I can think of may be considered too unethical for the Western world.

That's my point about the house analogy, we aren't exactly the same that's true. But in a very real way, saying we are too individualistic is like like a north korean saying the same. Except our ideology just functions better.

I see your point and i agree that in that way we are very individualistic. However I don't see that that hindering the progress of humanity as much as our enslavement to ideology which makes it very difficult to change. In that way, I would think that you would have to become more individualistic in the sense you go where people have not gone.
