Not sure why though, aren't recounts apart of the system? I'm sure he is still the victor even if they recounted in those states.

Its easy to tweek Trump: Do it often enough when he is full on President and they will do him proper with all the late nite tv shows and News News News will drive him fucking insane with most of his time jammed up doing twitter.Every tiny thing that goes wrong in the next 4 years will be blamed on him. Recounting on occasion is really a great thing to do. Not just with US Pres election but local elections - This one is a GREAT Example and has a Comedy element that keeps on giving

When the initial count was completed on November 18, Al Franken (famous from Saturday Night Live, was trailing Coleman by 215 votes.
After reviewing ballots that had been challenged during the recount and counting 953 wrongly rejected absentee ballots, the State Canvassing Board officially certified the recount results with Franken holding a 225-vote lead
On January 6, 2009, Coleman's campaign filed an election contest and on April 13, a three-judge panel dismissed Coleman's Notice of Contest and ruled that Franken had won the election by 312 votes. Coleman’s appeal of the panel's decision to the Minnesota Supreme Court was unanimously rejected on June 30, and he conceded the election. Al Franken was sworn in as the junior Senator from Minnesota on July 7, 2009
