I have two neighborhood bars.

One of them is hopping even on Tuesdays with unsuccessful people I went to high school with.

The other is where my dad indulged his first stint of alcoholism. It's known for an illegal smoking policy and an abiding sense of shame that makes all the regulars go through the back.

I drink at a taqueria. Alone.

yeah my old coworker somehow spent like as much as he made at bars he was a drunk
he was always inviting me too and I'm like 'im not going to any bar in this town' all the bars here are kinda creepy
