The exact opposite. It generates a completely random and long alphanumeric password with symbols, if you want (you can just give it your current passwords) and remembers all your passwords for you, across browsers.

Secure, and makes things easier.

I made a chrome extension that does something like that, except passwords are stored on my webserver (encrypted with a master password that I have to enter each browsing session) so I can also access them when not using my computer by logging onto the web interface.

That's... exactly what LastPass is. Except it's their server (not that it matters).
