Enough so that last week I closed the sale of one of my leased houses to an old University professor who will pay me to manage the property (requires zero management) and he paid over market price.
On paper I am still ahead because I still have a net gain from the prior elections. Not that such does me any real good because all of that money was spent several years ago - not spent but invested.
It is painful - that said I can buy the house back in 5 to 7 years and will. I lose a business deduction and will have to pay a CPA to figure all that out.
To reduce that pain I have cut myself OFF from daily views of CNN n Fox but of course I do view it a bit late at night while multi-tasking with work. I also cut out the late night shows like Colbert - for a while as I need to decompress.

IF YOU were to hold out as I did and by the time you take your SS the amount may go up? I held out to the max allowed so my measly SS is $3,576/month = $42,912/yr
You wood have to look up what the average take is - My guess is its about $1100/month and hell no one can pay rent and eat + keep the lights on UNLESS one were to move to say the Philippians or Baja Calif

er I do not base my investments much on those sources.
