I would strongly consider the risks and the consequences before you do anything, whatever you're attempting on doing. If the risk is prison time and you've never been exposed to a setting like prison, or aren't "street-wise" then the risk needs to be strongly considered. If it's just jail time lasting anywhere from a few days to a few months then you may be willing to take the risk, as jail is a different enviroment than prison, but the risk needs to be considered if you want to work as a professional which may impede you from doing so.
Consider the risks and then make a rational decision.
