Also this rioting is interesting in another way too: it shows that whether or not the candidate accepts the result of the election has no effect on whether their supporters accept the results.

Hillary Clinton accepted the results of the election, conceded with grace and dignity, and did her level best to encourage a peaceful transition of power. That didn't stop her supporters from rioting in several major cities.

You are correct, in that bigots are affected by these things too. Brexit saw a significant rise in hate crimes, and I see some news sites reporting a similar rise following Trump's victory.

I think it's perfectly plausible that these swastika guys are Neo-Nazis emboldened by Trump's victory. They likely see it as a step in favour of their ideology (emphasis on them seeing it that way).

For what it's worth none of the Hillary supporters I've talked to in real life or on other forums really "liked" Hillary, either. 99% of Hillary support was anti-Trump or "lesser of two evils".

So I guess it's fair to say these aren't "pro-Hillary" protests but anti-Trump. I guess my point is that if Hillary had won these riots would not be happening.
