Do you know what kind of job?
I would be slightly worried if any employers were using this to check potential employees, given its questionable accuracy in measuring personality. There are probably better, similarly convenient ways to get that type of data.

Yes it was for an actually very successful company worth a lot of money. Many companies over here make you go through a series of personality tests. One summer in college when i was applying to like best buy and staples i had to take a like 80 question multiple choice personality quiz just to be a fucking box hauler for one summer lol. Idk why everyone likes tests here.

I haven't heard of personality tests for jobs over here, so that might indeed be "an American thing".
It could be that doing the tests looks good on paper. So employers can say they're screening potential employees and getting a deeper understanding of them. Though it raises a whole ethical issue in itself if they're turning people down on the basis of these tests, especially if they're using a flawed one like Myers-Briggs.

As intrvert id hate a job that deals with customers all day (then you're gonna pay me 9 dollars to do so). A warehouse job pays 14 AND I don't deal with people all the time.
But giving someone a position if they are E or I is discrimination.

God no one linked one. I took one and got ISFP somehow but that's definitely wrong. I've been INTP or INTJ the last like four times i took it.

Yeah, but it's accurate like horoscopes are accurate. It's painting with a very broad brush. Everyone has introverted moments and extroverted moments or a thinking side or an intuitive side or makes judgements about things. Any description of your personality it gives you can sound generally correct just because it's so vague.

Well if if had said kind and loving I wouldn't have agreed. What it did say was argumentative to the point of having no tact or burning bridges. Very accurate and not vague at all.
