Slavoj zizek has the incredible ability to deliver philosophy in a very condensed way, "stupidly short" he says himself.
That's fine but his error is why he does that, he wants to encourage thinking that is outside of current ideologies, ideologies that he blames the situation of the world on.
This is fine at first, his intentions are good. The problem is though that he only encourages such thinking without telling you how because he doesn't know how.
So the problem is that he convinces you to "think outside of the box" for the common good but just maybe, you should start thinking outside the box for yourself, because first you must be free as a individual inorder to think of a collective plan which is free from the ideologies.

In other words he wants us to think of a collective plan which is not influenced by current thinking, but what he fails to see is that in order to do that, one must first free themselves. One can't free themselves by first freeing the public, you have to start with yourself.
