in the 90s they had some real estate investments that were investigated and nothing was found; ever since then she's been the target of many conspiracy theories and accusations, but they are always super light on the details and investigations never end up finding any evidence of criminal activity. Even Ken Starr the dude who very aggressively went after the Clinton's in the 90s has admitted there was nothing to find.
you'll hear a lot about secrets and lies, secret CIA planes smuggling drugs into Arkansas for cartels at the behest of the Clinton's, people the Clinton's have had killed, allegations she's pocketed big money in exchange for classified intelligence, accusations she's a sex fiend lesbian pedophile, has secret health problems stemming from black ops in the middle east, is responsible for the instability in the middle east at large.
looking back, it seems like the Republican party felt they could get even with Democrats for what happened to Nixon by smearing the Clintons. unfortunately for the repubicans "Teflon Bill" walked away rather unscathed, and even since then they've been in the conservative cross-hairs.
looking into the Clinton's you will read a fuck load of conspiracy theories, but the one thing they all have in common is a compelling lack of actionable evidence. it's confirmation bias. people see what they want to see and read into it what they want to read into it. the most recent assassination the alt-right is pegging on Hillary is due to the use of the term "pool party" in an email, which is supposed to be black-bag lingo for an assassination. of course no one is named, there's nothing linking the email to any event, but of course the alt-right has decided Hillary Clinton had Justice Antonin Scalia killed by a prostitute.
people hate on the clinton's either because it's politically convenient for them to do so, or they don't know any better after years, and years, and years of them defending themselves against baseless allegations. lots of people think anyone investigated as many times as the Clinton's have got to be dirty and be rigging things to stay out of trouble. the easier explanation that doesn't involve crazy conspiracy theories is that attacking powerful political opposition with endless scandals is a great way to end their opposition. ask any politician who's not coated in Clinton brand Teflon. that it doesn't work is kind of a testament to the Clinton's effectiveness, i might add.
anyone who can whether the kind of scrutiny Hillary has and still come out unscathed can certainly handle the challenges of the presidency.

This always gives me a chuckle. The Republicans have a considerable stumbling block in their weak appeal to minorities and women. Yet this election, they've ended up with a candidate aimed squarely at conservative white men. They've been forced to do the precise opposite of what they should have done to broaden their appeal.
