Topic: what if you buy a parrot and you take it home and you sit down and he's up there and calls you a fag

I wouldn't put up with that bullshit I'd duct tape the fuckers beak shut and see who's the fag now.

OP
Here in San Diego area we have a lot of wild parrots. I had them every day in Santa Monica.

I have a swing dance gal friend who has caged parrots that are visited every evening by the wild parrots. The cages are on a patio and the wild parrots fly down to the top of the cages and hang out ever night. If one of the caged parrots is totally attracted to a wild parrot - Friend allows her parrot to grow full feathers and lets it out of the cage to fly off with its soon to be mate

Agreed. I would get used to it pretty quick, but it would surprise anyone who visited.

When I worked and lived in Australia - Huge number of parakeets and Pink Parrots... Damn I was in search of a photo and now find they are not Parrots and instead rose-breasted cockatoo
But they are HUGE and the size of Parrots. At my Globalstar Satellite Command Control Tracking Station I had daily visits from Kangaroos some mean nasty super poison snakes the Galas aka Cockatoo's and parakeets. Now and then an escaped baby lambs wood wander on over but I always sent it away because the local Aborigines I hired looked at the Lambs and my imported Bar-B-Q grills and that look in their eyes was not so much so good for the Lambs.

What is not cool and I will never forget this - For my multiple 6 month stints in Au for Quacomm/Globastar I was renting a Hertz Holden. Holden is/was a long term maker in Au of GM like cars and was taken over by GM b4 I was born - Soon to be no longer making anything in Au - Car was similar to Buick and probably 95% Buick parts and many made in Au. So I am going down the Hwy at legal speeds but it was at max speed and came around a curve and hit a Pink Parrot and busted my Windshield - did stop and buried that bird and felt just terrible. Odd how after all these many years cause that was back in 1998 - I still feel guilty.

Photo is what is a common add on for autos trucks in Au outback. Lots of Road Kill on highways and cars without these guards are often viewed as crashed with the road kill so its really a vital addition for outback life.
