I can't do that and necessarily be forcibly confronted of the "problematic image" of autism without acknowledging it as anything more trivial than that. In other words, that to me isn't autism. That might coincide with autism and even in a sizable number of cases! What gets me is that I know I myself am autistic and yet share little in common with this predominant image.
