Imagi you are a kid and someone shows up strangling you to death. Seems brutal and wrong right? But so many people would do just that to Hitler if they could, or at least that's what they say.
Maybe since timemachines don't exist, we ought to be doing the above counteractively.

I'd be carefuler than to make such a claim. In terms of modeled predictions of reality being more feasible than the situation of literal time travel then perhaps so, but never say never.

I'm not saying never say never, I'm saying that regardless of the existence of such a machine..... That very machine seems to justify the murder of babies as a prevention of a horrible future.
So as a counter measure of that kind of mentality, I'm saying that the equal sequence of action is to murder the children of your enemies, after all you are on the right side and the children of your enemies will most likely not be on the right side.

I did give it some further consideration as an afterthought and came to the realisation that this can ultimately be summarized under an argumentation of retributive vs. restitutive justice.
Retribution being the brutal scenario aforedescribed and restitution being the recourse; in other words, restitution is only ever counterretributive. Brutality's justification thus fails to hold.

But is it really? Because I think the idea of murdering baby Hitler exposes the inner "hitler" of people. They would murder a baby for the prevention of a terrible future, but just that idea of murdering a baby as a prevention of something else is perhaps the exact same thing hitler thought as he murdered Jews, all for a greater future.
It's the exact same kind of science i appose. Murdering is wrong no matter what because god said so and no matter what rational you come up with, god is right.
