op > > How do you get rid of this smell?
One full jug - DO NOT ADD WATER TO DILUTE - Put in washer and pour one large jug over the jeans - CLOSE THE LID - Do not remain in the room.
Leave this for 24 full hours and then run machine to clear out the Bleach. Use HOT water and you may need to do this a 2nd time to get rid of the bleach odor. Or You can hang the jeans in the sun for a couple of days to clear the bleach odor totally

No. Don't stuff your machine full of clothes. Add a few towels, and use the hottest water possible with the highest agitation, and the longest wash cycle. Add oxyclean and detergent and fabric softener if you have it. An industrial washer like at a laundry mat is even better and also dry with a dryer sheet.
