That doesn't actually answer my question. If you want to accuse someone of being racist and backwards, with all that implies, you should at least be able to back up your accusations.

I didn't say you were necessarily racist, just that that's racist thinking. People can have racist thoughts out of ignorance and not be racist. No, India is not several countries, it is one country with 28 states, and I would agree that it has different ethnic groups because the culture within the country is so varied, but that's debatable as it depends on what you define as an ethnic group. It's not clear cut. But you're dodging my point and my question. If India can get its independence from Britain and it not be considered ethnic nationalism, why does Scotland gaining its independence from the UK have to be considered ethnic nationalism?
