I get tired around 11-12pm like a normal person, lay down, almost fall asleep, then become alert within the next hour or so. Then if I want to be able to go to community service I have to stay up all night and go at eight. Then to be able to work I take a nap and start this vicious fucking cycle all over again. I need to get some caffeine pills and sleeping pills so I can fix myself, its the only thing I can think of.

Why do you have to do community service?

Don't post here or get on your computer when you wake up. The light from the screen screws up your body's melatonin. That's why reading a book or a kindle in bed is ok and won't hinder your sleep but playing on a phone will. Get away from the TV/computer/phone an hour before going to bed and try taking a melatonin supplement.

This plus nyquil. Yaaaayyyy.
That or maybe go see a doctor and get an ambien prescription or something. OTC sleep aids suck.

I've tried this but it still doesn't help. I am tired and near sleep for 3 hours then wake up again. I try for another hour to go back to sleep then get frustrated and more alert.

No insurance at the moment unfortunately.

Last time I got ambien it was so cheap that my insurance didn't make a difference. The cost of the pills was equal to my copay. All you really need to do is get a doctor to give to the prescription, which even without insurance should only cost you $50~$100 if you know where to go, and if you have any friends/relatives who have friends/relatives who are doctors you can probably get a prescription that way.
