Mass of floods of forums and spam spam spam. Was a tech pro nerd asked by a Sysops of a large operation (100's of forums paid for!!) to work on helping THEM stop the spam attacks and floods. Floods were easy with new time settings. I had to work on phone with the SP he used to work on that directly.
Over tyme because frankly I enjoyed playing a flame game I started to DOX a person. It was only during the DOX data base hunt down that I came across the CP problem. Frankly it did not take a Rocket Scientist to find that. A person at that time used Cox Cable with the dynamic IP. Having his IP it was a cake walk to put IP into Google and BANG BANG BANG Hit hit hit...CP found in seconds. Y? He used a forum that was set up as 4 sections. 3 had hard nosed Sysops and Mods and had already booted him out on Permaban on just the Three. The 4th was wide open NO Rules no limits on a USA based server Yes really really dumb of Sysops. So for some degree of protection the Sysops set up #4 so that each post would show the IP of the poster and when they changed handles midstream of course the IP would remain the same. I should add --- Flooding and Spam were also legal on #4 as nothing was illegal.
So it took some work and some PERL coding to set up a way to pull all off as a data base and then of course it was packaged and snail mailed after I made a phone call to FBI etc and followed instructions. So as to replacing a key word?? Hardly. Its not like I was looking for the more when I found it..Just more DOX stuff. And that was the 2nd time I ran into this kind of thing while just playing for fun. The 1st one severed "her" term in prison and is now out. Yes a her. It later became much worse after she got out of prison, in a very direct family way. Is that too much TMI?
