Topic: for a long time I thought 'misled' was 2 words

like when I was a kid I would read it as like... 'myzuld' but at the same time I knew the words misled/mislead but I for some reason instead of realizing 'oh it's just misled' my stupid kid ass continued to think that the 'myzuld' phonetic made up word was a homonym that was synonymous to 'misled' with a slightly different connotation. which would be stupid as hell
but I forgot about it until today and i never thought about it

I once thought:
This morning = thismorning (pronounced: thi-smorning)
Thismorning, I walked the dog. - This was probably due to the words being very tightly pronounced.

Not so distant future = natzo-distant future
In the natzo-distant future, you'll need to walk the dog. - This actually made it sound like the complete opposite and caused communication errors. Some reason I thought "not so" sounded like some slang word: natzo - a long time. Completely made up lingo once again to satisfy basically a flawed speech to text system that is in place today with numerous patches.
