From what little I've used of them, they seem to be decent work computers.
I would only use it for school and other possible work.
I don't care about the latest and "greatest", but I am thinking of getting a refurbished model.

The primary reason I use MacBooks is the longer workable life. Windows machines become obsolete way more quickly in my experience.
The GUI is also a lot more familiar to someone who grew up on PCs than a modern iteration of Windows.
And, well, they just work.™

Isn't the life expectancy of a computer dependent upon how one takes care of it and not the brand name?
And wouldn't Windows 10 be closer to macOS than any previous version?
It even has a feature similar to Mission Control.
