Some friends of mine have obtained 40 acres of beautiful mountain property. There is a creek that runs through a good section and there are a plethora of springs on our land! Heres a pic of the sky i took the other day

also you might want to look for high water marks around the area before you build anything, that looks like the whole valley floods.

That's certainly an interesting lifestyle you've found. I can't say it's bad for you, though. It's well documented that natural environments do the mind good, and you seem to be in a very naturally beautiful place.
